Cancelation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:

 

24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give me 24 hours advance notice you will be charged  up to the full amount of your appointment. 

 

No-shows

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They maybe charged for their missed appointment. To rebook after a no show a credit card to be kept on file, and depoit up to the session amount will be required. 

 

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Terminating session

Either party may end the massage session at any time for any reason.Payment for the partial session may be charged. Partial session Payment is set in increments of 15 minutes, billed at $20 for every start of a new 15 minute block. Full payment required if session is terminated due to client misconduct.

 

Misconduct

Avery Bernhard, LMT strives to create an environment of calm and saftey. Therefore  a zero tolerance policy is enforced for client behavior that is offensive, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward staff or other clients. Client misconduct will result in immediate termination of services, forfeit of membership benefits, possible police report, and dismissal from property. If misconduct causes a session to be missed, end early, or causes another client to miss or adjust their session full session payment is required for any disrupted session(s).
